Jack was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on March 7, 1934 to Jack and Eileen Patch Glanzman. Jack grew up in Indianapolis, graduating from PS #60 and Shortridge High School He attended Butler University. Always a devoted sports fan, he enjoyed wrestling in high school and loved watching all types of spectator sports events, especially football. He was a very gentle person who gave to many charities that helped the needy or advocated for animal welfare. Although he had no formal art training, he enjoyed drawing and sketching portraits in his spare time. He retired from the business office of Wishard Hospital in 2001. His death in 2004 resulted from a malignant brain tumor which was detected only a month before it took his life. He was survived by his Mother and Brother who greatly missed his presence in their lives.
