I have some additional information and suggestions to enhance this memorial. Lottie Pearl Gish was born in Franklin County, Kansas. Her middle name was found in her husband’s U.S., World War I Draft Registration Cards, 1917-1918 information.

Her parents were Abraham D. Gish and Maggie Malinda Shuler Gish. Abraham D. Gish married Maggie Malinda Shuler on October 02, 1893 in Jewell County, Kansas according to the Public Tree attached below. I searched Ancestry.com and Family Search and could not find a record of that marriage. However, in the 1900 census it states that Abraham D. Gish and Maggie Malinda Shuler had been married for 6 years and the marriage was given as 1894 and that in my opinion correlates well with a marriage date of October 02, 1893. By 1900, Abraham had moved his family to Franklin County, Kansas. By 1910, Abraham had moved his family to Butler County, Kansas. In the Kansas State Census Collection, 1855-1925 for 1915 , Abraham and his family were living in Pratt County, Kansas.

Floyd W. Barton married Lottie Pearl Gish some time between 1915 and June 5, 1918 because in Floyd’s U.S., World War I Draft Registration Cards, 1917-1918 information he lists his nearest relative as “Lottie Pearl Barton – wife.”

Lottie Pearl Gish Barton died about October 1979 in Kansas according to her Social Security Death Index, 1935-2014 information. In my opinion and if this was my memorial, I would say that Lottie Pearl Gish Barton died in Franklin County, Kansas because she and her husband and family were found there in the 1930 and 1940 censuses and Floyd W. Barton’s FAG memorial states that he died on September 29, 1968 in Pomona, Kansas Franklin County and both he, Lottie and Lottie’s parents are buried in the same cemetery in Centropolis, Kansas Franklin County.
