Boonville - The death of Henry Williams, a prominent and prosperous farmer of Boonville occurred at a hospital in Utica Thursday, after an illness of three weeks duration. The remains were brought to Boonville and placed in the undertaking rooms of Henry McClusky.
Mr. Williams was born in Steuben and was 71 years old at the time of his death.
He enlisted in the 61st Regiment, N.Y. Volunteers and served with credit during the Civil War.
In politics, he was a Republican.
Mr. Williams was an industrious citizen an quite succesful in farming.
He is survived by his wife, one son, Irving B. Williams and two daughters, Mrs. F. A. VanDyke and Mrs. Winifred Williams of Boonville.
The funeral was held from the Presbyterian chuch Sunday at one o'clock. The bearers were Philip Walrath, Charles Woller, James McClusky, Rosel Jackson, Irving Jackson and A. M. Merrill. Boonville Herald, Thursday, January 23, 1913
