Addie Helen Bennett
Daughter of William Lee and Noma (Wood) Bennett was born March 12, 1931 at Mountain View near Nucla. She attended school in Long Park and Nucla.
She was married to Jesse Bennett October 11, 1948, at Aztec, New Mexico and lived in the vicinity of Nucla all her life. Later she divorced. The past few years she worked at Ray's Motel. Two weeks ago she became ill and on June 30th she passed away in the Presbyterian Medical Center in Denver.
Leaving to mourn her are the following: her mother, who resides at Valley Manor Rest Home in Montrose, two daughters, Addie Lee Presley of Grandview, Washington and Noma Rose of Nucla; and four grandchildren.
Also two brothers, Asa and Steve of Nucla. Also many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. She was preceeded in death by her father.
The family request donations can be made to Nucla-naturita Ambulance Fund.
Funeral services for Addie Helen Bennett will be Saturday July 8, 1978 at the Assemby of God Church at 2 pm with Rev John McCoy officiating.
