Noma Bennett, a lifelong resident of the West End area of Montrose County, died Wednesday, July 25, 1984 at Valley Manor Care Center in Montrose. She was 87.
Mrs. Bennett was born Noma Wood Dec 31, 1896, at Norwood. In February 1913, she married William Lee Bennett in Telluride. He died in 1959.
She was a member of the Baptist Church in Nucla and enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include one son, Steve Bennett of Nucla, 10 grandchildren and numberious great grandchildren. Two sons and 11 brothers and sisters died earlier.
