M. Boyer Leaped From Window
____________________
While temporarily irrational according to Coroner Coover, Frank M. Boyer, of Steelton, sprang from his bed in the Harrisburg Hospital Wednesday night and jumped out of the window dying several hours later from the effects of the fall.
Boyer, who was 36 years old, is survived by his wife and one small child. He had been operated upon for appendicitis. The nurse who was attending him had just left his room for a few minutes when she heard a noise as of someone removing the screen from the window. She reached the window just as Boyer jumped from the sill. [Patriot News - July 30, 1909]
