Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the same church with the Rev. Glenn Rosendale officiating.
Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
She died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002.
She was born Oct. 28, 1983, in Victorville, Calif. She received her diploma from Lubbock High and had worked for Tinsel Town USA. She placed second in downhill skiing at the '97 Sunshine Kids Winter Olympics at Aspen, Colo.
She was active in the Tech Prep Program, played the drums in the Monterey Band, was a member of the Make-a-Wish Foundation, the American Cancer Society, the Sunshine Kids and the Guadalupe Fishing Club. She was a lifelong resident of Lubbock and attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Survivors include her father, Enrique Perez; her mother, Guadalupe Perez; a brother, Ryan Castillo; a sister, Roxanne Perez; paternal grandparents, Magda Valdez Arguijo and Armando Arguijo; and maternal grandparents, Emiterio Munoz and Alejandra Munoz. All the survivors are of Lubbock.
