Services were at 1:30 p.m., Monday in the Parkview Assembly. The Revs Raymond Weets and J.J. Nanninga and James Weaver officiated
Burial was in East Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Vader Ploeg Funeral Home of Sheldon.
Mar. Vanderburg was born March 28, 1911 in Sheldon.
He was a custom baler and sheep shearer
He taught Sunday school and was an official on the church board for 32 years. He was a member of the Parkview Assembly
Survivors include the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Darlene) Jensen of Sheldon and Mrs. Harold (Angeline) Lindstrom of Ashland, Nebraska, three sons, Raymond of DeWitt, Robert of Pekin, Illinois and Ralph of Longview, Texas; three brothers, Henry Of Bellflower, California, Joe of Mount Prospect, Illinois and LaFrance of Orlando, Florida; two sisters, Mrs. Alida Cali of Bellflower and Mrs. Peter (Henrietta) Buekelman of Leota, Minnesota and eight grandchildren.
