Hilton M. Duncan Sr., 75, of Cameron, died Saturday, Sept. 6, 2003, at The Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 8 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg, with the Rev. James McGee and the Rev. Pete Lovern officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Orangeburg.

Active pallbearers will be David Williams, Jamie Williams, Jason Gray, Hilton Duncan III, Brian Duncan, Lee Jackson, Kent Clements, Jay Fanning and Mike McElvaney.

He was born Oct. 16, 1927, in La Grange, Ga., the son of the late Edgar L. Duncan and the late Leether Whitley Duncan. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Northgate Baptist Church. He was the owner of Georgia Boys. He was preceded in death by a son, Hilton M. "Bubba" Duncan Jr. and a daughter, Becky Duncan Gray.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Juanita Redding Duncan of the residence; two daughters, Mrs. W. D. (Sheila Duncan) Williams of Orangeburg, Mrs. David (Fran Duncan) Ellington of Orangeburg; one daughter-in-law, Donna C. Duncan of Orangeburg; three brothers-in-law, Tom E. Redding of Orangeburg, W. R. Redding Jr. of Atlanta, and John Garner of Fort Myers, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the residence and at Thompson Funeral Home of Orangeburg.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
