When a small boy he came with his parents to a farm north of Holbrook. In 1902 he moved to a farm north of Arapahoe, where he was engaged in farming. The latter part of his life was spent in Missouri and Kansas doing various kinds of work.
He leaves to mourn his passing, six sisters, Della Warren of Beaver City, Mrs. Edna Kolp and Mrs. Alyce Marks of Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Otto Tull of Arapahoe and Mrs. Zelda Naumann and Lucy VanDruff of Smithfield.
Two brothers preceded him in death, Lyman in 1952 and Marion in 1937.
