HASKELL, TEXAS, Dec. 1.--Mrs. S. A. Brock, living five miles south of Haskell, died at her home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from an acute illness. She was about 45 years old and has lived in the county for several years. She is a daughter of R. A. Lackey, and aged veteran living in the same community. Mrs. Brock has been a member of the Baptist church since girlhood and her life has ever been that of a true Christian.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. McHenry Seal, pastor of the First Baptist church here, Thursday at 10 o'clock after which her remains will be laid to rest in the Haskell cemetery. She is survived by several children her youngest child being about 13 years of age. Her husband died about three years ago.
