Brock lived at the Haile Lease, 12 miles northeast of Borger where he was stricken with the attack. He had been a resident of Hutchinson county the past 20 years.
He was employed by the Stanoline Oil and Gas Company and was a member and past Grand of Odd Fellows Lodge 94. He was also a member of the Bible Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of the home; four daughters, Mrs. Sam Langford, Levelland, Mrs. Gerald Crupper, Levelland, Mrs. Jerry Barnett, Dumas and Patricia Brock of the home.
Other survivors include one son Jodie E. Brock, Jr. of Stinnett; a sister, Mrs. Clarence Brasher of Rising Star and a brother R.L. Brock of Haskell, and eight grandchildren.
Interment will be in the Highland Park Cemetery.
