Ms. Breedloved was raised in Virginia. The 1st lived in the Indian Territory(Oklahoma) and later moved near Sugar Loaf Mountain, until the couple moved to Greenwood, Arkansas (for 16 years). The couple eventually moved to Fort Smith, Arkansas. She helped her husband with his medical practice.
Ms. Breedlove was a very devout Episcopalian.
She had four children, but all died early in their lives. Ms. Breedlove died at the age of 71 years. She had been married to Dr. James W. Breedlove for 48 years.
