He was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He was a farmer and operated the Ball & Son House Movers Company. He live (sic) all of his life in the Belleville community.
He was united in marriage to Gloria Faith Brasier on February 10, 1957, and to this union three children were born.
He was a member of the Assembly of God Church, Belleville, Kansas, Baker-Holmes VFW Post No. 3722, Belleville, Kansas, and Mid States House Movers Association.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Gloria Faith, and a brother, Marion Ball.
He is survived by two sons, Leon Ball and Leonard Ball, both of Belleville, Kansas, a daughter, Leona Beal of Salina, Kansas; eight grandchildren, and two sisters, Rosalyn Blackburn of Richland, Missouri, and Betty Blackburn of Lebanon, Missouri.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 18, 1998, at the Wesleyan Church, Belleville, Kansas, with Rev. Clark Struebing and Rev. Mark Somerville officiating.
Interment was made in Chester Cemetery, Chester, Nebraska.
