Bessie L. Stewart, age 87, died Sunday, December 20, 2009 after a short illness. She was born February 12, 1922 in McCurtain County, OK to Jim and Lela (Branton) Logan. She grew up in McCurtain County and lived the early part of her adulthood in Choctaw County, moving to OKC as a newlywed. She lived many years in OKC and retired at Cedar Lake, southwest of OKC, and returned to OKC about ten years ago. She was an active member of Airport Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Quincy, one son Ronnie and twelve siblings. Survivors include her son Dean Stewart of Broken Bow, OK, six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Services will be held at 10am on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Airport Church of Christ, 3800 S. Woodward, OKC. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens under the direction of McNeil's Mustang Funeral Service, Mustang, Oklahoma.
