Daniels passed away instantly in a car accident 2 miles south of Colmesneil on August 2, 1980. He was born in California, but has lived most of his life in Colmesneil. He had made his home in New Caney for the past three years. Daniels was an iron worker for a construction company.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Daniels of New Caney; one brother, Michael Daniels of New Caney; and three sisters, Mrs. Alva Bynum of Lufkin, Tina and Jody Daniels of New Caney.
Pallbearers were Paul Bynum, Mike I____son, Denis Moffett, Billy Snider, and Bob Mahaffey. Honorary pallbearer was Chester Marshall.
