She was the widow of the late James Alver Bright, Jr. Born in Laurens, she was a daughter of the late Joseph C. and Liddie Mae Hill Hughes. Mrs. Bright retired from J.P Stevens Watts Plant. A member of Second Baptist Church in Laurens, she was also a member of the Order of the Amaranth, Rose Court No. 13 for 50 years and the White Shrine of Jerusalem.
She is survived by a daughter Cindy Bright of Myrtle Beach.
