Funeral services for Guenther "Luke" Luckenbach, Lt. Col. U.S. Air Force (ret.), will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 21, 2005 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Granbury.
Military honors will be rendered at the graveside in Acton Cemetery.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Wiley Funeral Home.
The civic and church leader in Granbury and deCordova died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2005.

He was born Feb. 19, 1924 in Fredricksburg. He and Bobby Jean Watts of Granbury wed Nov. 26, 1948 in Stephenville.
The World War II bomber pilot flew missions out of England. He served 31 years in the Air Force before retiring to deCordova 31 years ago.

He was involved in business interests and community service. He was a charter member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, serving as an Elder and active in all church missions.

Survivors are his wife, Bobby Luckenbach of deCordova; son, Timothy E. Luckenbach, Lt. Col., U.S. Air Force (ret.) of Jacksonville, Ark.; daughters, Julie Bucko of Montgomery, Ala., Kathy Pemberton of deCordova and Doris Luckenbach of Abilene and seven grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are by Wiley Funeral Home of Granbury.
