Daniel Glosser was born in Baltimore County, Md. Oct. 15, 1818; died Aug. 8, 1903, aged 84 years, 9 months and 24 days. With his parents in the days of his youth he emigrated to Richland County, Ohio. He married Mary Weaver Dec. 4, 1804. They had 2 boys and 3 girls, the oldest dying in infancy. He was of a family of 8 children, all having preceded him in death except one brother and one sister. He leaves 2 sons, 2 daughters, 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He came to Jefferson Twp in 1854 and settled on the farm on which he died. He made himself useful as a farmer and at odd times worked at his trade, that of carpenter, which he had mastered so that he stood above the average workman. Funeral at Mt. Pleasant Church.
