Founder of the Watt-McAtee Funeral Home in 1928. Came to Oklahoma City in 1907 as a bookkeeper for the Marshal Funeral Home. Started Horrigan McAtee Funeral Home, later he was a partner in the Perrine and McAtee Funeral Home.

Son of James E. and Edith Margaret(Hayden) McAtee.
