Sudden Death.

Mr. Elisha McAtee, a prominent citizen of Dog Prairie, died suddenly at his home near St. Paul last Saturday morning, it is supposed of heart disease. He was taking some corn in a sack to some cows in a field and was seen by his son to walk at first with difficulty, and then to fall. The young man called his mother, and together they hastened to where his father lay. He gasped a few times after they reached him and then died.

The remains were interred in the cemetery at St. Paul last Monday afternoon, being followed to his last resting place by a large concourse of mourning relatives and friends. Deceased was about fifty years old and was highly respected by the community in which he had so long resided.
