CHESTERTON--Services for Frank A. Janowki, 83, of Burdick, who died Saturday in his home after an illness of three weeks, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Patrick's Catholic church.

The Rev. Ralph G. Hoffmann will officiate with burial in St. Patrick's cemetery. Friends may call today at the Carl Edmonds Funeral home. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm today.

Born Aug. 28, 1881 near Burdick, he was the son of Adam and Katherine (Katzmarek) Janowski. In 1914, in St. Mary's Catholic church in Otis, he married Laura Egelski who survives.

A life-long resident of the Burdick area, Janowski was a retired employee of the New York Central railroad.

Surviving besides the widow are two sons, Stanley and Clement both of Michigan City; three daughters, Mrs. Sophia Janowski and Miss Rose Ann Janowski, both of Michigan City, and Mrs. Agnes Stokes, Portage; one sister, Mrs. Helen Kory, Portage; and six grandchildren.
