Mr. Behringer was born 27 Aug 1903 in Riesel, TX to parents, William C. Behringer & Mary Elizabeth Cauthern (sic-Cauthen) Behringer. He married Lois Dockery on 15 Sep 1935. She passed away on 13 Feb 1999. Mr. Behringer was a lifetime member of Herring Lodge No. 1224 AFAM. He joined the Waco Fire Dept. in 1920 & was the youngest fireman to retire from the City of Waco. He was also a retired Building Contractor, farmer & rancher in McLennan Co. He was preceded in death by his wife; 2bros: Edwin B. & Fred B. Behringer; 2sis: Mary Behringer Mullins & Minnie Behringer Wallace. He is survived by 3bros: Robert A. (Bob) Behringer, Jesse G. Behringer & Herbert H. Behringer, all of Waco; numerous nieces & nephews.
