CUMBERLAND — Larry David Frost, 61, of Cumberland, died Thursday, April 10, 2008 at WMHS-Memorial Campus.

Born May 22, 1946 in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Harry and Patricia (Smith) Frost. He was also preceded in death by his step-mother, Phyllis K. Frost.

Mr. Frost had served in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam Era.

He had been an auto and small engine mechanic for Jim's Sales & Service.

Mr. Frost was a lifetime member of Gold Star Post 6452, Ridgeley, W.Va. He also belonged to Knobley Mt. Post 136, American Legion, Ridgeley and F.O.E., Aerie 245. He belonged to the Cumberland Outdoor Club, where he was a member of the Men's Skill Pool Team.

Survivors include his wife, Cathy Frost; his daughter, Heather Miller and husband Dave, Cumberland; his son, David Frost and girlfriend Arianna and her son Wyatt, Cumberland; one brother, Ronald Frost and wife Kate, Frostburg and their daughters, Patty and Nicole; an aunt, Edith Smith, Cumberland; his mother-in-law, Rose Godwin, Springfield, Ill.; and several brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law.

Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., 202 Greene St., Cumberland, on Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 1 to 2 p.m.

The funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home on Monday at 2 p.m.

Interment will be in the Maryland State Veterans Cemetery, Rocky Gap, where military honors will be accorded by Post 13 Veterans Honor Guard.

Memorial contributions may be made to the V.A. Clinic, 200 Glenn St., Cumberland, MD 21502.
