She was a graduate of Barnard College and was a gifted pianist and church organist. She attended The Cathedral of St. John The Baptist.

Mrs. Dudek is survived by three daughters: Deen Stratford of James Island, Isis Dudek of Asheville, NC, Sister Ann Marie Dudek of Greenville; three sons: Michael Dudek of Cross, Fred Dudek of Folly Beach and Joseph Dudek of Johns Island; two sisters: Elaine Carlucci of White Plains, NY and Margaret Tompkins of New York; three brothers: Dominick Debitetto and John Debitetto both of New York, and George Debitetto of Kansas City, MO; three grandchildren and one great-grandson.
