Miss OLIVE Winifred SEALE was born in St Michael Parish, Barbados. She emigrated to the United States on October 2nd, 1907, settling in New York City, probably in Brooklyn where two of her brothers were living at the time. She passed away at a young age, 32, at New York

In Barbados in 1921, her sister, Miss J.C. (Charlotte) Seale, named the new girls' school that she founded, "St. Winifred's", in part to perpetuate Olive Winifred's memory
