J.M. Deem Funeral Held Today At 3

Funeral services are being held at 3 p.m. today at the First Christian Church for Jesse Monroe Deem, warehouseman
for Loffland Brothers, who died Sunday night at his home, 1000 South Grant Street.

Born May 1,1882 in Beatrice, W. Virginia, he came to Ector County in 1941. He was married Dec. 21, 1904 to Miss Bessie Wilcox, who survives.

Beside his widow, he is survived by two sons and a daughter, Harold A. Deem, Edmond, Ok.; Marvin A.Deem of Beaumont, Mrs. Walter Hendrickson, Odessa, a sister and brother, also survive.

The Rev. R.R.Yelderman, pastor, will officiate at the rites. Hubbard Kelly Funeral Home directed arrangements.

Pallbearers will be: T.A.Davidson; Jack Jackson; Charley Hart; Frank Hendrickson; Gerald Lovelace and Mel Shingleton.
