Mrs. Opal Volet Hoover, 46, died at her home at 5 a.m. Sunday, following a lingering illness of complications. She was born Oct. 2, 1910, in Scircleville, the daughter of Delta and Leone Thomas. Mrs. Hoover was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the Rosary and Altar Society. She had been a resident of Kokomo for 30 years.
Survivors include the husband, Lewis; one daughter, Mrs. Donald Clary of Kokomo; and the mother, Mrs. Frank Humbert of Tipton. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick's Church with Father Leo Breitenbach officiating. The Rosary will be recited at the Ellery Funeral Home at 3 p.m. Tuesday. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m.
