"Catherine" married first, Bennett H Hopkins, a Private in the CSA, on 22 Dec 187 in Franklin County, Virginia. Supposedly he died 09 Feb 1864 in the Civil War, but I have not found any record of it. He was wounded on 03 May 1863 at Fredericksburg, Virginia. They had three children: William Henry Hopkins (1858-?); Elizabeth Frances Hopkins M.D. (1860-1940), wife of Albert W "Bert" Miller M.D. (1859-1920); and Judy Mary Bennett Hopkins aka "Mary" (1862-1936), wife of Palestine T Hanna (1856-1938).

"Catherine" married third, John Apenzellar (1816-1903), on 21 Jun 1894 in the same location.
