Patrice Dena Smith, 53, of Lubbock, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2009.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Friday, December 18, 2009, at Resthaven's Abbey Chapel. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5pm to 7pm.
Patrice was born on September 1, 1956, to Urbon Alewine and Jean (Murray) Gosnell. She worked for UMC Health Systems for 22 years as a surgical technician.
Those left to cherish her memories are her two children: Jeremy Watkins and his wife Mandy of Dallas and Tyler Carter of Lubbock; a grandson, Jake Watkins of Dallas; three brothers: D.L. Alewine and wife Janet of Lubbock, Clifford Alewine and wife Helen of Westville, Oklahoma, Carlton Alewine and wife Orlinda of Dixon, New Mexico; and her father, Urbon Alewine of Lubbock.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jean Gosnell.
