Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Ann Vickers Thomas, 76, of Spearsville were held Nov. 7 at Farrar Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Hurst and Bro. Richard Abel officiating. Interment was in Canaan Cemetery near Lockhart.
Arrangements were under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville.
Mrs. Thomas, a very domestic homemaker, died Nov. 4. She was a member of Canaan Baptist Church near Lockhart.
Survivors are two sons: David E. Thomas & wife, Donna of Spearsville and Steve A. Thomas & wife, Shonda of Rosepine; one brother: Bobby Gene Vickers & wife, Annie Mae of Bastrop; two sisters: Margueritte V. Manning of El Dorado and Betty Lou V. Taylor of Texarkana, Texas; three grandsons: Christopher Thomas of Houston, Texas;, Curtis Thomas & wife, Melissa of Spearsville and James Thomas & wife, Ashleigh of Pineville; 1 granddaughter: Amber Thomas of Pineville; two great-granddaughters: Hailey Thomas and Aubrey Thomas.
Pallbearers were Bill Manning, James Thomas, Brian Ford, Eddie Denton, Kevin Denton and Curtis Thomas.
