On October 22, 1932, she was united in marriage to Everett E. Brock. Following their marriage, they made their home in Waldo, Missouri, and later moved to Greenwood, MO. Then they moved to Sunrise Beach, MO and back to the Independence area until 1971 when they moved to their home near Warsaw. In 1982, Midge and Everett celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family gathering at their home. Everett preceded her in death on June 12, 1986.
Following Everett's passing, Midge continued to make her home near Warsaw. She was a very active lady and enjoyed the time she spent at The Toning Center nearly every morning with her friends. They became her family here and she loved each and every one of them. She was also a member of the Hickman Mills Christian Church, the BIBB Club of Warsaw and the American Legion Auxiliary of Warsaw.
She was also preceded in death by one nephew, four brothers and two sisters.
Surviving are two sisters, Peggy Crouse, of Jasper, Arkansas and Lois Brough of New York City, New York, a brother, Bill Brough, of Salem, Oregon, numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Graveside Services and Interment will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, December 19, 2009, at Shawnee Cemetery, Warsaw, with Bill Roberts officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M., Friday evening at the Reser Funeral Home, Warsaw. Memorials may be made to the Benton County Hospice in care of the Reser Funeral Home.
