LaNora Blackburn, 68, of Libby, died on Jan. 20, 2004, at St. John's Lutheran Hospital.
She was born on Feb. 23, 1935, at Lovell, Wyo., to James and Phoebe Cowley Blackburn and was raised and educated in Wyoming.
LaNora had been a resident of the Libby Care Center for the past two years, serving as a member of the resident council.
LaNora was also a member of the Libby Assembly of God Church.
An excellent cook, LaNora enjoyed animals and attending softball games.
Survivors include her children, Reavon Kershner, Roberts; Claudia (Dia) Lanman and her husband Bob, Libby; Solomon Fransisco Joseph Juarez, Broomfield, Colo., and Dobert Bruce, Billings; her siblings Amos Blackburn and Pearl Downer, grandchildren Elizabeth, Fletcher, Wynonia, Chris, Shane, Ryan and Amber and great-grandchildren Desiree, Ashley, Julie, Kaitlyn, Justyn, Cooper, Michael and Courtney.
Services were conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the Nelson & Vial Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at the City of Libby Cemetery.
Visitation was at the chapel from 4-8 p.m. on Monday.
