Elizabeth Johnson 1909-1966

Mrs. Norman Johnson of Bagley passed away at St. mary's Hospital in Duluth, on March 31, where she had been a patient for 10 days. Funeral services were held on Monday morning at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bagley with Father Doherty officiating. Interment will be made in the Bagley City Cemetery under the direction of the Cease Funeral Home.
Elizabeth Gaetz was born May 9, 1909 at Saskatchewan, Canada. She moved with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Gaetz to Beaulieu in 1915. She married Norman Johnsn there on April 26, 1931. They lived at Erskine, Menahga, Fosston and Lengby before moving to Bagley in 1956. Mrs. Johnsn had been employed at the Clearwater Memorial Hospital since she moved to Bagley.
Surviving are her husband; two sons, Jack of North Bend, Orgeon, and Kenneth of Yankton, South Dakota; two daughters Mrs. Arnold Lindgren (Carol) of Shevlin, and Mrs. Floyd Olson (Ruth) of Sunnyside, Washington; eleven grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. George Bowers (Johanna) of Avon, Dorothy Gaetz and Mrs. Allen Coates (Helen) of St. Paul, and Mrs. Rolla Pulver (Isabel) of Fosston; five brothers, Ben Gaetz of Forest Lake, Harry of Willerine, George of California, Roman of Fosston, and Ray of St. Paul.
