Mrs. Rosina Hochrein, at 101 the oldest resident of St. Cloud and one of the oldest residents of Fond du Lac County, died Tuesday morning at the Villa Loretta Nursing Home in Mt. Calvary.  She had resided at the nursing home for the past eight years. 

A lifelong resident of Fond du Lac County, she was born April 17, 1877, in the town of Forest, a daughter of Nick and Florentine Denner Entringer.  On June 21, 1897, she was married to John Hochrein at St. Cloud.  The couple farmed in the town of Frost since their marriage.  Mr. Hochrein died in 1950. 
Mrs. Hochrein was a member of St. Cloud Catholic Church, St. Cloud, the Christian Mothers Society of the parish and a former member of the Third Order of St. Francis.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Ervin (Tina) Horn of St. Cloud and Mrs. John (Mary) Hanke of Fond du Lac; three sons, Albert of Route 1, Sheboygan, Ben of Sheboygan Falls and Orlando (Dick) of Route 1, St. Cloud; 16 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. 
A son preceded her in death.

The funeral Mass will be Thursday at St. Cloud Catholic Church, the Rev. Arthur Nikolai, pastor, will be celebrant.  Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
