Dies at Elkton
ELKTON, June 25—Mrs. Dora Lee Monger, 86, widow of Hubert E. Monger died at the home of her daughters, Mrs. Mary Miller and Miss Florene Monger here this morning at 11:30, following a lingering illness.
Mrs. Monger had made her home with her daughters for 23 years. She was the surviving member of her family. A member of the Grove Hill EUB Church later moving her membership to the East Point EUB Church she had been a member of the EUB Church since she was twelve years of age.
Mr. Monger preceded his wife in death 37 years ago. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Mary Miller, Mrs. Lawrence Miller, Miss Florene Monger, and Collie C. Monger all of Elkton; and William A. Monger, of Harrisonburg. She also leaves eleven grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren.
A son, Leon Monger, preceded her in death two months ago while two other children also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted from the home of her daughters, Saturday afternoon at four o'clock. The Rev. S. J. Westfall will have charge of the services and burial will be in the Elk Run Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Luther C. Davis, Claude Baugher, Edgar Heiston, Landon Kite, Oscar Dofflemyer and M. W. Trenary.
The body will be removed from the Brill Funeral Home here to her late home Friday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock.
