OBITUARY - from funeral service

Mrs. Illene L. Stevens, age 65, of 2215 Ave. B died Tuesday morning at St. John's Center where she had been a resident for the past 3 months. She was born on March 19, 1932 in Mason City, NE to William and Laura (Mortensen) Albrecht. She attended school in rural Miller and Amherst. She was united in marriage to Neil J. Stevens on Oct. ll, 1963 in Kearney and has been a resident of Kearney since 1965.

Survivors include: one son, Robert Stevens of Kearney; and one daughter, Rhonda Stevens of Kearney; and two brothers, Marvin Albrecht of Litchfield and Lloyd Albrecht of Kearney. She was preceded in death by her husband Neil J. Stevens on June 8. 1987, her parents and three sisters.

Burial will be in Armada Cemetery at Miller, NE. Memorials are planned to the Zion Lutheran Church or to the Good Samaritan Hospital Hospice Program. ~ provided by: Vicki Albrecht Polhemus
