Graveside services for Timothy "Sparky" Sparks, 54, Emporia, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Evergreen Cemetery in Emporia.
Mr. Sparks died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009, at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka.
He was born Aug. 22, 1955, in Leavenworth, the son of Cynthia Sparks.
Mr. Sparks was a certified nursing assistant and farmer.
He married Kathy Albin in 1979 in Lawrence. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include a son, Devan, Lawrence; three daughters, Jennifer and Tanya Sparks, both of Emporia, and Kali Sparks, Lawrence; four sisters, Esther Sparks, Bonnie Hughes, Della Osburn and Rosemary Munger, all of Lawrence; three stepsisters, Martha LaRue and Margaret Herzog, both of Lawrence, and Nancy Coen, De Soto; and a stepbrother, Charles Simpson, Kansas City, Kan.
