HIAWATHA - Noll, Catherine E. 92, mother of Jerry Noll, of Wichita, KS, died Thursday, December 10, 2009 at St. Mary's Manor, Blue Springs, MO. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2009 in Effingham, KS, at St. Ann's Church, with Fr. Benjamin Tremmel, O.S.B as Celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Ann's Cemetery. A parish rosary will be held starting at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 14, 2009 in Hiawatha, KS, at the St. Ann's Church, with visitation to follow until 8:30 p.m. Friends may also call on Tuesday morning from 9 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. at the Becker Chapel in Effingham. Memorial contributions are suggested to either St. Ann's Church, Effingham or St. Ann's parish, Hiawatha, or Crossroads Hospice of Blue Springs, MO, and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Wigand was born on April 22, 1917 in Nortonville, KS, the daughter of Martin and Catherine (Schrick) Wigand. She was married to Oscar Noll on April 12, 1939 at St. Ann's Church in Effingham. Mr. Noll preceded her in death on March 27, 1990. Survivors include two daughters, Donna Lee (John) Schletzbaum, Indianola, IA, and Sharon (Robert) Antes, Grain Valley, MO; a son, Jerry Noll, Wichita, KS; two sisters, Viola Wigand, Atchison, KS and Edith Hund, Paxico, KS; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Her parents; husband, Oscar; three sisters, Emma Wohletz, Ruth Adcock and Frances Koenig; and one great-granddaughter, Kylie Antes preceded her in death.
