Bernard Hillesheim, 76, six miles southeast of Sleepy Eye, passed away Thursday after an illness of about three weeks.

Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic church in New Ulm, with burial in the Catholic cemetery.

Deceased, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Hillesheim, was born in Sigel township, May 7, 1883, and spent his entire life on the same farm. He married Minnie Lange at Holy Trinity church January 21, 1913.

Besides his wife he leaves two children: Robert, Route 1, Sleepy Eye. and Mrs. Melvin Domeier, New Ulm. There are five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Christ Hillesheim, John Hillesheim, Mrs. Barbara Juenemann, Florian Hillesheim, Springfield; Sister M. Huberta, Rochester; Mrs. William Guggisberg, Gibbon; Mrs. John Juenemann, Clements; Frank Hillesheim, Mrs. Fred Mickelson and Henry Hillesheim, Sleepy Eye.
