W.E. Harmon Buried At Panhandle

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the First Christian Church for William Edward Harmon with Rev. Thomas Gray officiating, assisted by Rev. James Todd.

Mr. Harmon, age 87 years, passed away at his home west of Clarendon Monday night. He had been a resident of Panhandle, Texas for thirty years prior to moving to Clarendon four years ago.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Helen Harmon; three sons, R.P. of Clarendon, R.E. Of Amarillo and W.R. of San Angelo; also 12 grand children and 6 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Alvin Landers, G.W. Bradshaw, Pink Rogers, Roy Clampitt, Kelly Neighbors and Forrest McCracken.

Burial was in the Cemetery at Panhandle with funeral arrangements under the direction of the Murphy-Spicer Funeral Home.
