Services Held Wed. For Mrs. Harmon
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the First Presbyterian Church for Mrs. Nellie Helen Harmon with Rev. James T. Mitchell officiating.
Mrs. Harmon, age 90 years passed away at the home of her son, R.P. Harmon of Clarendon, Monday afternoon following a lengthy illness. She had been a resident of Clarendon the past 6 years and a resident of Panhandle, Texas for 30 years prior to that time. Her husband, W.E. Harmon preceded her in death in May, 1949.
Survivors include three sons, R.P. Harmon, Clarendon; W.R. Harmon of San Angelo and R.E. Harmon of Amarillo; one sister, Mrs. Lena Harmon, Spearman; four brothers, George Seivers, Hillsboro, Ernest Seivers, Milford; Guy Seivers, Cleburn and Ed Seivers, Hereford; 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Steve Donald, Lois Putman, Seth Swinney, G.W. Bradshaw, Roy Clampitt and Pink Rodgers.
Burial was in the Panhandle Cemetery with the Murphy-Spicer Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
