Rebecca F. (Naugle) Hoover,
103, a resident of Trinity House, Waynesboro, died Wednesday morning, Dec. 11, 2013, in her home.
Born Jan. 9, 1910, in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late Oscar L. and Ida F.(Maun) Naugle. She lived most of her life in the Waynesboro area.
She and her husband, the late M. Emmert Hoover, were married on June 26, 1937, in Faith United Methodist Church, formerly the E.U.B. Church, Waynesboro. Mr. Hoover died on April 13, 1998.
Mrs. Hoover was a member of Otterbein Church, Waynesboro, where she was also a member of the Adult Sunday School Class.
She is survived by one son, Ronald E. Hoover and his wife, Andrea of Waynesboro; one sister, Lucille Edwards of Hot Springs, Ariz.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Miriam E. Nace, Ethelyn M. Tallent, and Francelia Fields; and one brother, Lloyd H. Naugle.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. Burial will follow in Ringgold Cemetery, Ringgold, Md.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: The Otterbein Ministry Center, 801 Park St., Waynesboro, Pa. 17268.
