Joyce "Joy" Broom Drye, age 52 of Duluth, died December 10, 2009. A Memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Monday December 14, 2009 at Bill Head Funeral Home Duluth Chapel, with Rev. Carl Fisher officiating. Joy was born October 31, 1957 in Charlotte, NC and graduated from Independence High School in 1976. She had a long career in sales with Central Pipe and Supply of Doraville, GA. She is survived by her son Brandon Aubrey Drye and his wife Heather, daughter Brittany Anne Drye all of Duluth, mother Ann S. Broom of Rock Hill, SC, brother Gary P. Broom and his wife Donna of Duluth, sister Teresa Dawkins and her husband Kevin of Charlotte, NC. The family has established a memorial website in memory of Joy at www.legacy.com. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at Bill Head Funeral Homes and Crematory Duluth Chapel.
