Ray Kennedy, 63, of 14 Gooch Apartments, 765 Riedville Road, died Aug. 2, 1996, in Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

A native of Spartanburg County, he was the son of the late Jesse James Kennedy and Margie Wilson Kennedy Sutton.

Survivors include one brother, Lester E. Kennedy , Sr. of Spartanburg; and one sister, Jewel Dean Honeycutt of Fairforest.
