Sandra Lynn Bailey, age 56, known by her friends and family as Sandy, of Floydada, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at Vista Care in Lubbock.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Friday, December 11, 2009 at the Lockney Cemetery under the direction of Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Lockney.
Sandy was born March 2, 1953 in Hale County. Sandy married Glenn Bailey in Lockney at her parent's home on December 15, 1972.
She was a loving mother, wife and grandmother. Sandy was a member of the West College and 3rd St. Church of Christ. She has served for many years as a Dietician at Mangold Memorial Hospital in Lockney.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn Bailey of almost 37 years, of Floydada, her two daughters, Mandy Jones and Kelley Winegeart of Lubbock; one son, Shannon Bailey of Bandera; her parents, Lynn and Wanda Smith of Lockney; a brother, Garry Smith of Lockney; a sister, Becky Knowles of Amarillo and 8 grandchildren.
