Mrs. Elizabeth Norton
Mrs. Elizabeth V. Norton, age 78, passed away at her residence near Tates creek in Banks County, Sunday July 30, after an extended illness. Mrs. Norton was born and reared in Banks county. She will be missed by the many friends that she has made throughout the community. She was a member of Leatherwood Baptist church. She was the former Miss Elizabeth Vaughn, married B. J. Norton 62 years ago. Funeral services were held Tuesday August 1 at 11 a.m., from Tates Creek Baptist Church, Rev. Bob Martin and Rev. James Turner will officiate. Interment in churchyard.
