The former Edna Neville was born Nov 27, 1906 in Stephenson to the late Mr and Mrs Joseph (Elsie Roberts) Neville. She married William Hoida on Nov. 16, 1926 and preceeded her in death on March 9, 1994. She worked with her husband on the family farm. A member of Church of the Precious Blood, she sang in the choir and was involved in St. Anne's Society.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. David (Connie) Westrich of Chesapeake, VA; one son, Marlin of Lena, two daughters-in-law, Carol Hoida of Menominee, Grace Hoida of Stephenson, 12 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Lois Hall of Stephenson.
She was preceeded in death by three sons, William Jr, Ronald and Roger; a daughter-in-law, Phyliis; a great-granddaughter, Monica; four sisters; and one brother.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 1 from 3 to 5:45 pm at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial offered Thursday at 6 pm a Church of the Precious Blood. Rev. Ray Hoefgen will officiate with burial in Stephenson Township Cemetery.
