At Honeoy, Ontario county, NY, on the 9th of January 1842, Mary Ann Saville, eldest
daughter of J Saville, Esq, and wife of Ardin C. Bishop. She was born near Wakefield in the West Riding of Yorkshire, England, August 18, 1819; emigrated with her parents to America in 1827, and was married Oct 31, 1839.
She was a dutiful child, an affectionate wife, a pious Christian, and in her last moments was surrounded by kind friends, who beheld her depart in peace, and who all felt that they could say, "O, that I might die the death of the righteous, and my last end be like hers."
