YOCUMTOWN, Nov. 6 - Herman G. Hake, 56, husband of Mrs. Mary E. Beard Hake, Etters R. D. 1, near here, died at 4:30 a. m. today in Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg.
Born in Newberry township, son of the late Charles and Edith Sipe Hake, he was an army veteran of World War II and was employed as a well driller. He belonged to James A. Danner Post 537, Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Edith Ann Hake, at home; two sons, Delbert L Hake, at home, and James A. Hake, York county; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Bruce Bupp, New Cumberland; a stepson, H. Elwood Repman, Dover; six grandchildren, six brothers, William Hake, York Haven R. D. 1: Homer, Alvin, Walter, Stewart and John Hake, all of Dover R. D. 3, and two sisters, Mrs. Frances Trimmer, 19 Sigsbee avenue. North York, and Mrs. Gladys Ensminger, Dover R. D. 3.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Sunday at Newberrytown Church of God with the Rev. Richard Morris, pastor, and the Rev. Eugene Winters, pastor of Holiness Gospel Mission, Etters R. D. 2, officiating. Interment will be in Paddletown Cemetery.
The Zeigler Funeral Home, Manchester, is in charge of arrangements."
